Miami has tons of incredible Farmers Markets that happen to be within driving distance of UM's campus. Keep reading to discover some of UThrift's favorite local Farmers' Markets! Checking out these events can help support local farmers and businesses, as well as the general Miami community.
Miami Lakes Farmers Market
Where it happens: New barn & Main Street
When it happens: Year-round - every Saturday, from 10am-5pm
What you can get: Explore fresh produce, handmade accessories, local
jewelry vendors, and floral arrangements on New Barn Road!
Coconut Grove Farmers Market
Where it happens: 3300 Grand Ave
When it happens: Every Saturday, from 10am-7pm
What you can get: This market offers seasonal produce, a variety of cultural
cuisine and spices, local jewelry and clothing vendors, and plenty of vegan
options!
Legion Park Farmers Market
Where it happens: 6601 Biscayne Blvd
When it happens: Every Saturday, from 9am-2pm
What you can get: Be on the lookout for handcrafted soaps, prepared foods,
and veggies from home-growers!
Miami Springs Farmers Market
Where it happens: 118 Curtiss Parkway
When it happens: Seasonal (October-March), from 10am-3pm
What you can get: Miami Springs Farmers Market boasts a selection of fresh
fruits, juices, face painting, crystals, and handmade art!
Pinecrest Farmers Market
Where it happens: 11000 S. Red Road
When it happens: Every Sunday, from 9am-2pm
What you can get: Unique vendors with fresh produce, flowers, crafts, gifts,
food, and entertainment; Vinyasa Yoga class sponsored by Baptist Health
from 8:30am-9:30am.
Vizcaya Village Farmers Market
Where it happens: 3250 S. Miami Ave
When it happens: Every Sunday, from 9am-2pm
What you can get: Immersed in Vizcaya’s historic farm and village, discover
fresh delicacies, hand-crafted goods, fruits, vegetables, baked treats, vegan
products, and more; Rain or Shine!
The Farmers’ Market at Merrick Park
Where it happens: 405 Biltmore Way
When it happens: Seasonal (January-March) on Sundays, from 8am-
2pm
What you can get: Taking place inside Coral Gables’ outdoor mall, you will
find artisanal bread, organic produce, and an assortment of fresh-baked
goods!
